As a small business striving for greater fairness and sustainability, we love connecting with other creative people and brands who share our values and have a great company vision. While looking for inspiration, we came across MARI&ANNE and immediately thought: It’s a match! That’s why we want to share our collaboration with the inspiring team behind the MARI&ANNE brand with you today.
MARI&ANNE is a cosmetics manufacturer from Franconia that offers cosmetics made from 100% natural ingredients. The cosmetics brand offers handmade skincare products with regional and high-quality premium ingredients that support effective skincare. A lot of thought goes into creating the products at MARI&ANNE to offer an alternative to conventional skincare products. A central component of the skincare products is oil from the seeds of grapes grown in Franconia.
Who is behind MARI&ANNE?
MARI&ANNE – that’s Marianne, Sabine and Marina. They stand for togetherness, inclusivity, transparency and simplicity and want to use their work to “raise awareness in society and change the way people see things”. Marina, the daughter and sister of the two founders, is at the heart of their company. Marianne and Sabine wanted to offer Marina, who has trisomy 21, a safe place to express her creativity and have a great working environment. And that’s how MARI&ANNE was born, a small, family-run business for handmade cosmetics. Marina is now the creative mind in the MARI&ANNE studio together with her sister Sabine.
In addition to cosmetics products such as solid soaps or lip balm, MARI&ANNE also offers other products featuring Marina’s illustrations that make perfect small gifts, such as socks, tote bags or postcards.

When we saw Marina’s illustrations, we were immediately impressed by the beautiful messages she conveys in them. So we asked her what her wish was for the coming year and asked her to illustrate it for us. Marina describes herself as the sunshine in her family because she radiates so much positive energy. And that’s exactly what she wishes for all of us for the coming year: That we all have someone in our lives who brings sunshine into our everyday lives.
And that’s how this beautiful illustration came about.
